St. Robert Southwell is a creative school with Art and D.T. taking place on a regular basis.

Children in the Early years, are given the opportunity to create Art and sculpture, on a daily basis, using a range of media.

Children from Year 1 upwards, use sketchbooks and study artists and their work. They use a range of media to develop their skills.

Throughout the school, Art is also taught using a cross curricular approach, which enriches the learning experience for the children.

The school is planning a whole school ‘Dot Day’, where children will spend the day exploring where a dot may take them and acknowledging the fact that every child is an artist.
