As a school, we actively promote our Anti-Bullying policy.
Racism — incidents of racism are not tolerated. These are dealt with usually by the Headteacher, who would contact the parents if necessary, record and report to the Local Education Department.
Bullying — incidents of bullying are also taken very seriously. Children are encouraged to tell a member of staff, or their family if they are being bullied. We want all children to feel safe and secure at our school.
Each year the children take part in Anti-Bullying Week, where they are encouraged to find different ways to promote this message. This may be in the form of class assemblies, poster competitions and leaflet design. They are encouraged to think about how their behaviour in class and on the playground may have a negative impact on other children and are encouraged to think of ways to resolve this.
